This dramatic route provides access to Mammoth Lakes from all directions.
NOTE: Please check with Caltrans for pass and road closures during the winter months. Tioga Road west bound (highway 120 west) is closed seasonally pending weather and road conditions.

From Southern California
Take I-5 north, to State Route 14 north, to US 395 north, to CA-203 (300-375 miles). Turn left on Old Mammoth Road. The Mammoth Creek Inn is a few blocks ahead on the left, across from The Stove Restaurant.
From San Francisco
Summer: Arrive via CA-120 through Yosemite National Park and over spectacular Tioga Pass. Winter: Take Interstate 80 to, to US-50 and the Kingsbury Grade cutoff, to US 395 south, to CA-203 (320 miles). Turn left on Old Mammoth Road. The Mammoth Creek Inn is a few blocks ahead on the left, across from The Stove Restaurant.
From Nevada/Lake Tahoe
Drive through miles of scenic backcountry as you take US-395 south to CA-203 (165 miles). Turn left on Old Mammoth Road. The Mammoth Creek Inn is a few blocks ahead on the left, across from The Stove Restaurant.
From Las Vegas,
Tour the desert’s interesting rock formations and old gold mining towns. One of several options is US-95 north to NV/CA-266 west; turn slight left to CA-168, to US-395 north, to CA-203 (310 miles).
